Mr. Eddie Brinson joined TAMARACK Technologies, Inc. in May 2009, retiring from active duty while assigned to the Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), in the Nuclear Surety and Force Protection Branch. He comes to the company after completing a successful 24-year career in the U.S. Navy, as a Senior Security Specialist. His military career included 13 years of enlisted service as a Physical Security, Law Enforcement, and Force Protection officer successfully serving aboard a wide range of combatant Naval ships and shore installations. He also served as a K-9 Dog handler, training and utilizing both Patrol (attack) and Explosive Detector dogs.


In 1998, Mr. Brinson was selected for commissioning as a U.S. Naval Officer, under the Limited Duty Officer program; the program is designed to advance highly skilled Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and transition them into the naval officer ranks to serve as “technical experts” in their field. Following his commission, Mr. Brinson again served at sea, shore, and major staff assignments, most recently  completing a highly successful assignment with the Director, Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), in the Nuclear Surety and Force Protection Branch. A recognized leader and SME, Mr. Brinson led a team of experts in the conduct of Vulnerability Assessments on the security, stowage, and movement of United States strategic assets. In addition, he led the first special team of professionals to assess the transit mission associated with United States Ballistic Missile submarines. In addition to his extensive contributions to nuclear security, Mr. Brinson brings tremendous depth of experience in Physical Security Project Management solutions.


Mr. Brinson’s tenure at TAMARACK has now spanned more than 12 years. In that time his duties and responsibilities have steadily increased from Director, Washington DC Operations, to Vice President, Physical Security Group, to Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Now, he leads TAMARACK on a continued path of providing exceptional contract support services to the federal and private-sector marketspace.


Mr. Brinson currently resides in the Washington D.C. area, with his wife, Vivian.
