Mr. Paul Iordanides joined TAMARACK in 2021, as the Chief Engineer bringing a broad background of Antiterrorism Force Protection (ATFP), Program Management, Systems Engineering, and Business Development, to this fast growing, strategically focused, 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Business. Mr. Iordanides is a recognized senior ATFP Subject Matter Expert (SME) currently providing direct support to the CNIC N6S Systems Engineering Directorate. Mr. Iordanides has over 40 years of Systems Engineering experience working on Navy programs such as the AN/ UPX-27 IFF, AN/SLQ-20B systems where he was involved in design, development, and testing including TECHEVAL & OPEVAL 


Mr. Iordanides has several degrees in Electronics Technology, Computer Science as well Masters in Engineering work from Cal State University. He served for 9 years in the Navy across a variety of assignments on active duty, before resigning and going to work for Logicon Corp, where he worked on Link 11 systems. He then started his Navy Civilian career at Naval Ocean Systems Center (NOSC), which changed to Space and Naval Warfare Center Pacific (SPAWAR). While at SPAWAR, Mr. Iordanides led the Navy efforts for AT/FP Command & Control systems aboard 72 Navy Ashore installation including the design, development and testing of Mass Notification systems Giant Voice (GV) and the Alert! system used currently by the Army and at the Pentagon. Mr. Iordanides’ final assignment was working in Washington D.C. for Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) and the Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC), as the Director of Systems Engineering for the AT/FP program, where he was responsible for the systems engineering of over 100,000 assets deployed on Navy installations worldwide.


Mr. Iordanides likes to spend his free time enjoying Amateur Radio, where he holds an Extra class license as W9WC and where he designs and builds radio systems. He also likes boating and is a student pilot.
